ABOUT THE NSWAAT

NSWAAT is a member of the National Association of Agriculture Educators

The NSW Association of Agriculture Teachers is actively involved in representing teachers and providing assistance through representation on Board of Studies Committees related to Agriculture. Also by making direct approaches to Government, the Minister, CEC and the Department. There is involvement in the Professional Teaching Council and Professional Standards committees. The Bulletin of the Association (BAAT Journal) keeps members up to date.

Membership will increasingly provide you with the help you need to enhance your professional experiences.

Membership  includes:  

  • you will have access to the Association website PLUS a members only section of the website with downloads of sample programs, work submitted by other teachers, access to sites related to Vocational education, Junior and Senior Agriculture and latest news for members,  
  • PLUS receive the BAAT Journal. Past copies are available online. Check out the BAAT Archives  
  • Members are also entitled to attend the Biennial Association conference and the National Association of Agricultural Educators conference. (Charges apply)
